…commonly asked of me, why did I write the book?
Because I had to.
The story of Sir Laurence Gregson is more of a journey than just words on a page. Not just a journey for the characters but for me too. Sure I developed the story and yes of course it came from my imagination, but the journey was more than just writing. I’d never done it before. I didn’t even know if I could.
Are there problems with the book? Well sure. I’ve been told by one very knowledge person that the story has inconsistencies, it is at times contrived (dialogue wise) and unconvincing. Well, yes, it is contrived – that was deliberate.
It’s good to hear opinions and it’s helpful to have criticism (however painful it might be to hear), I’m new at this, and I’m also quite aware that I’m also a novice.
So the answer to the question, what is next? Well, I’m going to start the next story and work through the current one and make changes where necessary to make it as good as it can be!
